Teach Away Inc. is a teacher placement organization with offices in Toronto, Vancouver, Albania and Edinburgh. We specialize in placing licensed teachers and university graduates in teaching positions around the world. Each year, Teach Away helps hundreds of teachers gain valuable international travel and teaching experience.

Job Position: Teacher Placement / Recruiting Coordinator (Junior Level)

Job Location: Tirana, Albania

Job Purpose:

A Placement Coordinator works as part of a dynamic recruitment team in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, Placement Coordinators are responsible for all aspects of teacher recruitment and are a source of information for teachers interested in teaching overseas overseas. A sense of urgency and ability to multi-task are essential to this role, as well as the ability to maintain positive and professional communication with teaching candidates on a daily basis.

Job Responsibilities:


Screen job applications for teaching opportunities overseas
Conduct pre screen telephone interviews to ensure candidates meet the requirements for the role
Ensure candidates are fully informed on the position they are considering and address any questions they may have
Professional, honest and friendly communication with teachers
Working within strict recruitment guidelines, ensuring all candidates are matched to the best position for them
When needed, source candidates from internal and external databases for more specialized roles
Prepare candidates for interviews
Advise candidates on documentation required for their visa
Assist candidates and provide the necessary support to assist them in successful relocation overseas.
Administrative duties


Requirements:


Bachelor degree is required, preferably in Education
+1 year experience in Recruiting is desirable but not required.
Proficiency in English (Written and Spoken)
International experience (Teaching, working, travelling or studying etc.) is also desirable
Experience in fast-paced working environments
Confident computer user
Ability to multitask, Efficient, energetic and self-motivated
Great communicator, outstanding verbal and written skills
Team player and a quick learner
